Who should apply

A great fit for current high school juniors and seniors from backgrounds underrepresented in science interested in neuroscience — a Baltimore in-person track and a nationwide virtual track are offered.

Eligibility

  • Current high school juniors and seniors
  • Targeted toward students underrepresented in the brain sciences
  • In-person (Baltimore) track: students attending schools in Baltimore City
  • Virtual track: underrepresented juniors/seniors anywhere in the U.S.

What you get

  • In-person (Baltimore): an 8-week summer research experience with an hourly stipend and transportation support (no housing)
  • Virtual: a 5-week summer research experience with a $500 honorarium
  • A research project matched with a scientist, guided by faculty, staff, and student mentors
