Mass General Brigham

A multi-year program for students from Boston, Revere, and Chelsea offering paid academic-year and summer internships across MGB hospitals, plus mentorship, college/career advising, and alumni support through college.

Who should apply

Rising 10th graders in Boston, Revere, or Chelsea who want a sustained, paid pathway into healthcare careers with mentorship and college support.

Eligibility

Students entering 10th grade at Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers, Revere High, Chelsea High, or any Boston Public School; 3.0 GPA required. ~75 students accepted annually.

What you get

  • Shadowing across departments (emergency medicine, nursing, radiology, research labs)
  • One-on-one college and career advising
  • Mentorship and alumni support through college, plus scholarship opportunities

Health Career Connection

A 10-week full-time paid summer internship placing undergraduates and recent graduates at hospitals, health departments, community clinics, and health plans across 13 regions of the country. Interns also get career workshops, mentorship, and health professions school prep.
