Perry Outreach Program

The Perry Initiative

A free, day-long, hands-on program where high school students perform mock orthopaedic surgeries and biomechanical engineering experiments and hear from practicing surgeons and engineers.

Who should apply

A great fit for high school students (target grades 10–12) interested in exploring careers in orthopaedic surgery and engineering through a hands-on, one-day experience.

Eligibility

  • Target grades 10–12
  • Historically focused on women and non-binary students; the program states students from all backgrounds are welcome — confirm current eligibility wording on the site
